January 26, 2019 - 14U Tournament Information

Hello 14U Teams-
We are looking forward to a great tournament. I wanted to outline some of the details for the day.
Please pass on to your teams and families.
Location: Amity High School, 503 Oak Street, Amity, OR 97101

Facility Information:

• Outside food is allowed in the designated team area, please bring your own table.

• We will have concessions available! Please support our club.

• There are plenty of bleachers. There should be no need for outside chairs.

• PLEASE clean up after yourselves, throw away garbage, clean spills, etc… (leave your space as clean

as it was when you arrived)

• Gate fee is $5.00 for adults, no charge for students/children. No charge for players and coaching

staff.
Tournament Information:

• Doors open at 7:15am

• Coaches meeting at 7:35am in the main gym, please have rosters ready.

• Tournament starts at 8:00am

• Warm-up: Power League format – covered at coaches meeting.

• Pool Play: 4 team pools - best 2 out of 3 sets. Sets 1&2 are rally scoring to 25 points. Set 3 is rally

scoring to 15 points, switch sides at 8 points. For all games: No cap, win by 2 points.

•  Bracket Seeding: Seeding is based on GAME win-loss records, head to head, game percentages, total

point differential.

• Bracket Play will start after pool play concludes and tournament director posts brackets. There will

be a 30 minute lunch between pool and bracket.

• Bracket play format will be single elimination, best 2 out of 3. 3rd game to 15 points, rotate sides at

point 8. Losing teams will have next referee and score keeping responsibilities, please check-in with
tournament director to make sure all reffing duties are complete before you leave the tournament.

•  Prizes will be awarded for 1st Place team in each Bracket (Gold and Silver)
